Default Bing Maps: New Bird's Eye Software

If you have not been on bing lately they have updated the Bird's Eye software. You can now zoom much farther in and out and it seems to load faster now. You can try it out here: http://www.bing.com/maps/explore/#/n6yswjyqwrlfs275

On a side note, they have updated the Bird's Eye over Danvers.

Bing just stepped it up a notch. No abandonment is safe!

Oh and if you zoom really close on danvers it becomes abandoned!

Wow this must have just happened. I was using it earlier this week and it was still the old version.

Well isn't that just dandy. Kinda hard to get used to, since it'll randomly change the angle I'm looking at things. Also, I kinda find it funny that a lot of farmlands in Lancaster near where I live are old, blurry pictures. Even Microsoft doesn't think the area is significant in any way. lol

Did you try it with Silverlight installed? Holy crap!

Now that Bing has street view I have absolutely no need for Google Maps.

I also love that it automatically switches to arial you can keep zooming out in Birdseye instead of having to switch back and forth. This shit is incredible.
