Post UA could use some writing help

I could use some help keeping the main page www.urbanatrophy.com updated with news, photos and info. Anyone interested?

write-ups on specific abandonments, info on re-use and demolitions, general UE stories, whatever.

Lemme know if you are interested and shoot me some of your ideas.

from what I have seen up there it wouldn't surprise me if that was the work of kids w sledge hammers. Were there any dumpsters?

holy crap. that's some serious damage but it doesn't look like normal proper demo to me, looks more like people trying to get serious business and try to get any hint of metal out of what's left in that place which is pretty crazy.

unless someone is trying to pull a fast one and not do abestos abatement and just level the damn thing and make it disappear quick.

I think your right. And to answer Dans question, from what I've heard is that there were no dumpsters. But it could be scrappers, let alone retarded vandals, but if it were vandals or scrappers; wouldn't the security guy thats there now take a look? unless he's anything like most other security, lol.

Looks like the work of the vandals for sure. If it were a demo team there would be dumpsters, caution tape, signs, cleaner work and a hell of a lot more done.

if it was demo, they would start on one side of the building and tear it down until it was gone. there is a random hole in the middle, and just walls knocked out. vandals for sure.

Thinking about it more somebody trying to smash up that wall probably got lucky and got a few good hits in to a few key bricks that helped bring down that big section of them. The age of that brick front probably made a few of them load bearing and taking them = timber!

oh yeah check out my shades.. but yeah, id say scrappers. there wasn't anything of value left in the pile, it truly is worse than a few weeks ago. haha. but vandals I think would have been worse in keeping it kind of controlled. but either way its BS. she was a good one.

Edit: nope vandals. why demo it? our generations kids already are.
