Some seriously wicked stuff coming out of Russia... I'm still pawing through and it honestly might take me a day or two find, but one of these guys took pictures of what kind of looked like part of an underground Death Star.

I really wish I had been into this hobby in 2003 when I went to Eastern Europe, so many abandoned things over there, especially large (probably boring) concrete apartment buildings and old factories, all leftover from the Iron Curtain days...

That would be awesome to explore stuff from back then, I want to see those monument grave yards, like in Goldeneye. Sweeeeet.

Where is this death star you speak of? I looked through the ones on the first page and didnt see anything.

But everything else looks bad ass

It's an ooooold post, I think even out of a different group. I'm still looking for it but it's definitely going to take some digging.

As I've been sifting through the few hundred posts (so far) it's taking me to find the underground base, I decided I'd include some goodies from other folks:

    Familiar Place

    Heavy lifting.

Over 400 posts later, I found the sucker: Anyone else thinking of Ewoks and space fighters, or is that just me? He also posted this gaping maw.

I love this guy. He gets himself into some crazy stuff...

HA! I found the original post! This was the thread I saw MONTHS before I found the site in person, completely by fate and accident! I saw the building and recognized it from the pictures. It's also one of the reasons -why- I didn't try to find a way in.

I'm thinking NOT safe is the definitive word on the matter. Frankly they look like giant radioactive dildos and that's just flat out scary for a variety of reasons.

I had those thoughts for the vials (still fricking creepy), but some of those jars look a bit more... real.

Ok, if the dildos are real that guy is a hardcore dumbass. I would tend to think they are not but hey....Russia has it's share of dumb rednecks like we do here.

-On a side note, anyone in the market for a radioactive bong? I bet that would pack a punch.

Where will all the material for the dirty bomb come from?
    Exhibit A.
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
    Thomas Jefferson
