Not sure if its abandoned completely but...
    Dead Poets Society...
The entire movie is filmed at a school in Middletown De.. The last time I was up there parts of the school were abandoned and I am patiently waiting for the rest to be... its so beautiful...

Last time I was there (two months ago?) my friend and I got a nice soundtrack to our exploration, courtesy of a pretty good band practicing in one of the studios. Good times

Add the sancturay to the list. It was used for Homicide (or was it the wire?). Also the infamous Marble Bar (still Virgin) shows up in 12 Monkeys.

Thumbs down I'm behind in the times

I don't think that Session 9 has been mentioned here yet. Though I'm sure that is just because it's so obvious. I saw it for the first time last night thanks to Netflix.. stupid walmart and their non alphabetical movies, god I hate Walmart! Anyway I wasn't too keen on the ending but still, very good for a tight budget film. And it takes place in my favorite type of building!

    Default Sacred Heart Hospital

Time to revive this thread once again... I found a new one.

My g/f has gotten me hooked on the TV show Scrubs, and the whole time I've been watching it I just knew that there was something I liked about the show besides the hotties. Turns out the show is filmed in a real abandoned hospital, which was once the North Hollywood Medical Center.

Ugh, scrubs. My girlfriend is addicted to that damn show.

It is taped in an abandoned hospital like face said.. I've looked it up before. (boredom.. or gayness?) They rebuilt everything from the apartments to the hospital rooms in the hospital for filming.

I actually read it's been taped in 2 or 3 different hospitals over the years.

    Default One more for everyone!!!!!!!!!

Blair Witch 2 Book of Shadows:
RFD 431 (The warehouse where it all goes down)
I'm not sure where this is, but from watching the documentary, I believe it to be near 48th street just before the city. Don't quote me though.

Freedomland. There is a place in it called "Freedomland Village" that was supposed to be an abandoned orphan asylum or something.
