To be awarded to members that have traveled over 250 miles (one way) to reach an abandonment. Explorations on vacations and business trips DO NOT count.

An award for members that have been “busted” during various exploration activities (trespassing, breaking & entering, unlawful entry, etc.). An official citation, fine or arrest is required. Being simply stopped, questioned or issued a warning does

The Media Award is issued to members that have had work published in newspapers, magazines, books or shown on TV.

Awarded to members that have been seriously injured on an exploration.

The Medic Award is issued to members that have gone out of their way to help another member that had been seriously injured or immobilized during an exploration.

The Ultimate Access Pin is issued to members that have demonstrated extreme dedication and planning to access an “un-touchable” site.

The Industry Pin is issued to members that have explored large scale industrial sites. Places such as power plants, steel mills, factories, etc.

The Military Pin is issued to members that have explored a defunct military site. Nike sites, missile silos, old bases and forts are included. Forts that are now public parks are NOT included.

The Alcoholic’s Pin is issued to members that have stumbled around in old abandoned breweries.

The Educational Pin is issued to members that have explored an abandoned educational site. Old schools, colleges, large camps and youth correctional facilities are all acceptable.

The Hospital Pin is issued to members that have explored an old medical establishment such as a mental asylum, tuberculosis hospital, state hospital, etc.

The Entertainment Pin is issued to members that have explored places such as abandoned theatres, amusement parks and stadiums.

The Amphibious Pin is issued to members that have had to cross a significant amount of water using boats, kayaks, canoes, etc. to reach a location.

The Religion Pin is issued to members that have explored abandoned places such as large churches and cathedrals.

The Prisons Pin is issued to members that have explored an abandoned prison site. Minimum security detention and correctional facilities are NOT included.

The Subterranean Pin is issued to members that have gone underground exploring caves, drains, tunnels and other various attractions located beneath the earth.
